Consortium’s Summer Engagement Series NYC Event

It Wouldn’t Have Been the Same Without YOU!

This time last Wednesday we were gathering for The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management’s Summer Engagement Series New York Event! Wonderful networking among Consortium alumni, education partners, corporate partners, Consortium Fellowship recipients and friends. Guests enjoyed  hot and cold hors d’oeuvres while chatting and sipping on great wines from enJoie and the Boisset Collection along with craft beers from Harlem Blue Beer.

I am grateful to have been a Consortium Fellowship recipient to pursue my MBA at The University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 1989 to 1991. It was so heartwarming to see and talk with incoming Consortium Fellows, alumni, admissions directors and corporate sponsors!

If you want to purchase any of the wines or beers we enjoyed last Wednesday while supporting a MBWE, please contact me at jb@enjoielife.com.

Wine selections were as follows:

  • Charles de Fere Methode Traditionelle Brut – Lovely pale golden color. Delicate bubbles. An elegant and expressive nose with aromas of almond and quince. The attack is strong and fine revealing flavors typical of Chardonnay with floral and toasted nuances.
  • Legend Vineyard Exclusive (LVE) French Sparkling Wine – Deep pinkish-orange color reminiscent of a vineyard peach. A fruity nose, blending notes of citrus and small red fruits( strawberries & raspberries). The bubbles are soft and pleasant. A well-balanced palate with voluptuousness and hints of red currents and pomelos, complemented by a nice acidity on the finish.
  • Buena Vista Sonoma County Chardonnay – Pale greenish-gold color. Green apple and Asian pear on the nose with citrus notes, complemented by peach and mango flavors with a hint of caramel and brioche on the palate.
  • LVE French (Still) Rosé – A brilliant, pale pink color. The nose is aromatic with delicate notes of peach blossom, raspberry and apricot. Full on the palate, crisp light notes of fresh picked strawberry and white nectarine lead to an elegant and lengthy finish.
  • The Countess Red Blend – Enticing aromas of plum, cocoa and baking spices greet the nose in this 2019 Red Blend. Raspberry, blackberry and black cherry flavors are complemented by notes of espresso, dark chocolate and hints of vanilla. The is a well-structured and balanced crowd pleaser with a long, dense finish.

Have a fantastic end of summer, and please feel free to drop us a line anytime. We hope to see you next year!

Santé,
