The above selections were a wonderful representation of the diverse expressions and styles of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from different regions – ranging from the earthy, ethereal and relatively restrained style of France to the more fruit-forward, colorfully bold and powerful style of California. It was hard to pick a favorite, because all of the wines were exceptional, however if I had to pick three, I’d say I was partial to the JCB No. 81 Chardonnay, JCB No. 3 Pinot Noir, and Raymond Generations Cabernet Sauvignon.
